Do you ever see wild animals?

We are surrounded by deer daily. Lots of insects, including butterflies hovering over our flowering bushes, and the occasional bat at sunset.

On rare instances we see a red fox in our path…but only after we bring up the idea of a fox minutes before in conversation. In all seriousness, this has happened on three separate occasions throughout the past year! Coincidence? Manifestation?? Always a beautiful sight regardless.

And then there’s the most memorable animal encounter when I was hiking in Colorado and rounded a corner to a huge open field filled with hundereds of elk, the nearest being no more 50 meters away! That was a sight I will never forget.
